Loading procedure?

I am new to this and am gathering everything I need to shoot .308 in F/TR and wanted to ask about the reloading procedure.

For first loading on new lapua brass I planned on running a K&M mandrel through the neck to fix any dings or anything from shipping then chamfer inside and out side of mouth ,clean , prime , load then seat.

For subsequent loading .

Deprime
Clean
measure
Full length re size with Redding Type S die without expander.
trim to length as needed.
chamfer inside and outside of mouth
prime
load
seat

Anything else I should do? I am not planning to neck turn.

Does this plan look reasonable?

Thanks for your time.

I am curious as to the answers you get here too. I do pretty much the same thing as you are planning with the same mandrel for new brass and I use a redding bushing FL SB sizer to set the shoulder back .001-.002 from fired for consistency thereafter. I get the best concentricity readings If I bushing neck size first before the FL sizing with a bushing about .003 oversized. I really like the redding competition shell holders for setting the sizing die properly.

You need to clean THEN deprime... The carbon on the necks of brass is hard a a rock and can, over time, score the inside of your die.. I will give you my procedure:
1.) Clean the cases>>>especially the necks;
2.) Full length size 1 out of three firings>>>>the other 2 sizings, I use a "Forster Bushing Bump-Die";
3.) Wipe the cases off of whatever lube you use, then clean the primer pockets;
4.) If the cases need trimming, this is when that process begins;
5.) If the cases were trimmed>>>then I chamfer the inside and outside of the case necks;
6.) Then I run a case neck brush inside the case necks and "scrub" the necks clean;
7.) Prime;
8.) Load the powder; AND
9.) Seat the bullets...

Oh I forgot, if you do not use an expander ball in your sizing die, make sure you have a MAXIMUM of 2k neck tension...

The reason I said clean after depriming is I am going to be using a Wilsons punch set not a die to deprime with.
