thane,
I tried 90gn Scenars in my early days with 6BR, but they didn't do as well for me as the 105gn Scenar, or Berger VLDs, so I dropped them. Here's what I got for what it's worth.
All loads in Lapua brass, 28" Border 1-8" twist 4-groove heavy-target profile barrel, minimum SAAMI no-turn chamber (very tight - I have to run cases through a Redding small-base die when new and then every five firings or I get very hard extraction).
I tried Reloder 15, VarGet, H4895 and (briefly) Viht N540, the last giving the poorest results.
Fed 205M 29.0 - 30.9gn Re15. 30.3gn gave 2,847 fps and 30.9gn 2,950 fps
Fed 205M 28.0 - 31.3gn VarGet. 30.2gn was the heaviest load chronographed and it gave 2,888 fps. Primers started to crater (Rem 700 action, firing pin not bushed) at 29.8gn.
The sweet spot in my barrel was in the low 29s so I reran 29.0-29.9gn in 0.1gn increments, 29.9gn giving 2,846.
90gn Silver (factory Moly) Scenar
CCI-BR4 28.0 - 30.0gn H4895. Top load gave 2,912 fps. Much smaller MV ES than with VarGet or Re15.
With unbushed Remy, I can't run as hot as many do without piercing primers, so none of these loads should be really high pressure.
Accuracy wasn't dreadful with the 90s, just didn't do as well as I expected. The sweet spots ran at around 0.4" with 5-shot 100yd groups, the not so sweet loads double that except for N540 that it just didn't like and shot around the inch. Moving onto the 105 Scenar produced more small groups and 105gn Berger VLDs in the lands finally cracked it so far as this rifle and barrel were concerned. Other 6BR owners I know get good results from the 90 though.
I hope this helps a bit.
