Whats the Apache 1800 case supposed to be used for ?

The Apache 1800 case, per the Harbor Freight website, is IP65 rated as watertight and dustproof. Historically I believe that most users in the shooting community have used these cases to store handguns, but with the advent of 3D printers and using some CAD software to make stuff like loading blocks, they can now be used to safely store ammo for travel.

I keep a pair of binoculars in one in my truck, mostly for the purpose of keeping the dirt out of them.
