Lapua brass neck thickness isn't always .014", as in one lot of my 6.5 PRC brass it ranged from .0141 to .0161. Because of this, I do turn the necks to .014".I would assume for using any Lapua brass using a projectile having a 6.5mm diameter...
Lapua case neck thickness measures .014”, bullet diameter measures .264”: 0.264 + (0.014 x 2) = 0.292. To get 2 thousandths "neck tension" a 0.290” bushing is needed. Because of brass "spring back," someone will actually end up with approximately 1.5 thousandths grip or "neck tension."
