I usually use the satterlee method to find a node. After I found a low sd load I’d find a seating depth and call it good. ( harder and takes longer than I just made sound)
I recently put a 16inch barrel and action in a new stock now my magneto speed can’t go back far enough on the barrel before it hits up against the stock to give me a reading.
Id hate to go buy a new chronograph just for this one rifle. (I’ve owned a caldwell before and it did not work well at all)
primers are a big issue I’m sure everyone understands so I really don’t want to use up any components I don’t need to.
Any suggestions?
