Load data charts

These charts dont seem very helpful.
They all use 24 inch barrels and maximum of 175 gr bullets.
I would like to know 30 inch barrel and 180 gr bullets data for 7mm RSAUM.

Add 20-25 fps per inch to the 24" barrel data. Should be reasonably close. Once one gets beyond 30" I believe the velocity increase per inch is less depending upon caliber and powder though.

That is exactly why so many chronographs are sold. The charts give you a baseline, there are so many variables of that the only way you're going to find out what your hand loads are doing with your rifle is my measuring it yourself.

Even if you have the same length barrel etc., you will get different data. The charts are round-house and only a general guide. I have a gun with a fast barrel and get substantially different data than the 24-inch stuff even adding a few fps.

Amen on the "fast barrel". Same here. I see speeds more appropriate for the upper end of the "load charts" from some "starting loads".

A chronograph is the only way to go if you want accurate speed numbers.
