Little help with powder

I just received a bunch of powder from a dead realitives widow. Need a little help on what they are best used for.

Imr 4320,4198,7828, 4756
DuPont PB
Data powder 2200
Accurate 2230, no 9, 8700

Any help would be appreciated thank you

The 4320, mid sized rifle cartridges. The 4198, small cartridges like the .222 and .223, also some large straight wall cartridges like the 45-70. The 7828, magnum rifle mostly. The 4756, handgun and shotgun mostly. PB is primarily a shotgun powder, may possibly be used in some handgun applications. I don't know about Data 2200, Accurate 2200 is primarily used for small cartridges like the .222 and .223. Accurate #9 is an excellent Magnum pistol powder. Accurate 8700 is a very slow burning Magnum rifle powder, for Weatherby's up through .50 BMG.

2230 works well in 222/223 and smaller cartridges.

Make sure you check the powder. Bad smell or turning color (rust color is bad). If in doubt of good or bad color, post picture of some powder on a white piece of paper.

4320 is not produced anymore. I have a good stash of it - it is near Varget on the burn chart, but has temp sensitivity. I use it in 308 and 30-06.

Pretty sure that Data 2200 is Accurate 2200 before Accurate acquired the company that made Data (or something like that.) Either way, it was just a name change or rebranding.

That is correct. Same loading information between Data 2200 and AA 2200 (other than some recent updates to cartridge usage). I use a lot of it in .223. Not the fasted velocity powder in most cases, but I have excellent accuracy results. Can be a bit dirty burning, but meters easily and shoots consistently. Accurate Powders are handled by Hodgdon now.
