Little Crow WFT for 204?

Are any of you using the Little Crow Worlds Finest Trimmer on a 204 Ruger? Curious how well it does.

Matt

I have the original in 204. Works perfect. Best reloading tool investment I’ve ever made. Crazy fast. Chamfering is now my nemesis.

I have the WFT and the WCT (worlds cheapest trimmer) and they both work well. The WCT is made of black Delrin and lacks the bearing, but leaves no marks on the case.

When I needed one for a 338LM, I sent them a couple of sized cases and they made one for me at no additional cost.

My gunsmith just recently went to one of these trimmer and had good things to say about it. I've considered them for some time but never purchased one, this may push me toward actually getting one.

Just started trimming 270 weatherby this last night, 2.539 each time, couldn't be more pleased

I also use the WFT 2 with inserts. I use it on an old Ryobi wood lathe motor that was given to me and it's one heck of a set-up. The WFT 2 is very consistent for me.

Regards
Rick

Another fan. I use the WFT 2 with inserts for 30 Herret and .223. If you get one make sure to make a dummy case for each cartridge, it'll save you time and frustration in the long run.

Works just fine. But how consistent is your shoulder bump? Trim length variation will mostly depend on shoulder consistency.

Indexing off the shoulder, just as the cartridge does in the chamber, the OAL of the cartridge in irrelevant to where the neck is going to land in the chamber. So although shoulder bump will change the OAL measurement, the important dimension (shoulder to mouth) is consistent with this type trimmer.

This, of course, does not apply to belted cartridges.

I bought two $16 rechargable drills, two hand held chamfer tools and two Sinclair chamfer tool holders. Now I grab a drill all set up and do all y inside, then grab the other and do outsides. When doing 1000, I sit my kids down to a box of them ready to go and they trade off into another empty cereal box.
