Lilja CZ 455 drop in question

Wondering if the 22lr chamber Lilja is currently cutting works well in low temps.

The chamber in my 64 MPR plugs up pretty darned quick when temps get down below freezing. Thinking I'd pick up a Lilja for my 455 and run that for cold weather shooting if it's a bit more forgiving.

I am in Central Montana. I have a Lilja barrel on my 455. I have been tuning my new barrel using the shims supplied by Lilja. I have been shooting in below 32 deg.F. for a while and have not had any problems. I am using a biathlon Fiocchi Exacta Winter ammo. The lube/wax coating may make the difference. You might message HOODOO on accurate shooter. He may have some insight for you as well. In addition my Lilja barrel is very nice! You won't be disappointed if you buy one.

I live in Washington state and it’s generally cold during the winter months. I’ve had no problems with my 22 LR or 22 Mag. Lilja barrels. They transform the 455s into real shooters. Only my custom guns will out shoot them and then not by much.
