light weight Sightron sunshade?

has anyone come up with a good solutions for a light weight sunshade for a 10-50 Sightron?

i have used a plastic water bottle. sprayed it flat black. wrapped a piece of painters tape around oneside (on the inside). fits like a glove.

Sightron's 8-32 sun shade fits and it is very light, much thinner than the 10-50 sun shade.

Yes, it does. It is thinner therefore less weight. Due to being thinner, there is a step down on the outside. Some guys might not like that appearance.

I have seen this done. Works good. I would use black paper. Won't let light through. White is sorta transparent at any thickness.

I purchased a 62mm camera lens hood off of ebay. It screws in and is light weight
