Light 700 long action options that can fit prefit or savage barrels?

Howdy guys.

I've asked about this in the past but have picked up interest again in building another bolt action rifle (or several). I'm wondering what options exist in the remington 700 long action footprint that can utilize pre-fit barrels. Being light is a plus. I know that there are a handful of options out there in titanium and a decent amount in steel, but I haven't looked much in to how compatible they are with pre-fit barrels. Any info is appreciated.

When you say Pre fit barrels are you referring to barrels already chambered and use a nut system for setting headspace or are you talking about threaded and shouldered barrels that are short chambered?

Take a Look at, the Criterion "Sporter" sized, "Rem-Age" Nutted, Barrels and carefully Watch,. ALL, the Diameters / Lengths. Criterion Barrels If, Fitted Properly,.. "Shoot",.. TINY !
The Med Heavy, 24" Sporter" ( .705 Muz Dia. ) on my Rem 700 Short Action ( 6 XC ) , in a H-S Prec Stock weighed 10 Pounds exactly, w/ 6x-24x Scope / Mts. ( IF you want LESS than, 10 Pounds,.. Go,.. "Smaller" ! )
