Ok I just need to have a shout out to Leuplod.......As some of you know I also for a long time have shot rifle at least as seriously as I do pistol. Over the years many who have watched me shoot have asked me why I use leupold scopes on most of my rifles. They are not cheap. Last summer I was returning from a range session with a couple of my rifles. One was an AR15 with a leupold 3X9 the other was a custom win Mod 70 in .223 ack that had a Leupold 6X18 AO scope on it. When I got home My dog Molly brought me a toy to play with and dropped it behind me as I was taking the rifles out of my truck. Yep I steped on it and twisted my ankle and went down hard smashing both rifles and scopes on the tar drive. The 3X9 on the AR survived with just a case of road rash. It works fine. The 6X-18X wasn't so lucky and it bent the tube bad enough so that it was off more than 6 feet at 100 yds with the adjustments way over to one side. Well I didn't have 500 bucks or so to have it fixed so it has set on a shelf up to now. Last week finally with a little money in my account I sent it in. It had ugly road rash.....and I indicated in my letter that I has smashed it on the ground and fully expected to pay for any repairs or replacement. I asked for an estimate before they started repairs. About 2 weeks went buy with me waiting to get the dreaded phone call to find out that it was going to be expensive.....Today a NEW 6X-18X leupold showed up at my house......Free of charge! Now that is giving Dillion a run for their money on the warentee game.......Thanks. That is why along great glass and repeatable adjustments I own about 10 leupold scopes.
