Leupold VXi LRP 8.5-25x50 Question

Quick question for the guys that have/use a Leupold VX-3i LRP 8.5-25x50. Can you clearly see bullet holes on white paper with this scope at 300 yards?

If mirage is not running heavy you may be able to see them ever further.

Agreed. Very nice scope. I run two 8.5-25s, one on a match rifle and the other on a hunting rifle. I can see holes in a shoot n see target at 400 meters no problem.

It depends on caliber you're shooting. In mirage 22 caliber are difficult to see at 300 yards. In my opinion if your minimum is 300 and have any plans to shoot further I would suggest at least a 32 power scope. Then of course price goes up. On my 6mm and 6.5 benchrest guns I use 42, 45, 55 power at 100-1000 with the 42 my favorite in temps above 80 degrees.
