Leupold vx- freedom review

Has anyone had any hands on experience with the leupold vx-freedom 4x12x40 with side focus? Its the model that has a side parallax adjustment. Model#175079. All the stores around me do not stock them for me to get a hands on look at. Im looking for a new scope and wanna keep it a little light but not if its not good. Also want a good eye relief. Im looking at this, sightron s-tac 3x16x42, or vortex viper hd 3x15x44. Im not looking to spend over 1k for this scope. Just dont know many guys with leupold anymore. If anyone has any hands on experience with this leupold what do you think about it?

I don’t have that one but I do have the older vx-1 or 2( cannot remember), to be truthful the power range in that type of scope is my least favorite. 4 power seems to much on the low end for a variable of this type. I’m a lot happier with something that goes down to at least a 3 power for more field of view.
Don’t take my word for it, but it seems like in past threads that it was mentioned that Leupold’s 4-12 models were closer to 5 power on the low end.
