Leupold scope repair

I managed to ding up the end of my Leupold VX three scope. The opposite end of the scope (near the pretty gold band). it appears to be a separate peace that’s in front of the gold band. Can it be replaced? Can an average gunsmiths perform that task? Maybe it has to be sent back to luepold? Thanks.

If it didn't do anything functionally I would leave it as a character scar. A hunter showing up with pristine gear is a dead giveaway of a poser.

While I feel the same as Gargoyle, I'd send it back to Leupold rather than have a gunsmith work on it. They are called 'scope smiths' for a reason.

Leupold has great customer service. If the piece is easily removed they may send you a replacement.
