I have used the original versions of the above with no real issues but when I went to order a set of the "New Improved" II series there were numerous reviews by customers who detailed issues with the ring tops not lining up with the lower half and having trouble getting the screws in. They also complained about the rings scratching their scopes. Isolated incident of a bad production run or has anyone else encountered these issues ?
