leupold mark5

good evening everyone.
I have a leupold mark 5 5x25x56. the elevation turret does not do 3 round as described but 2 and stops at 20 mil. I have not yet used the zero stop. why do not I have 34 mil of elevation?
sorry for my elementary English

Whether you've set the zero stop or not, it came preset somewhere in it's travel range. In order for you to have 3 revs up and say a 100 yard zero, you'd need close to a 55moa canted base. If you have a standard 20 moa base, it may be closer to where it should be than you realize. Does this make sense?
If you cannot zero at 100-200, loosen the turret cap and turn it in the up direction almost a full rev, then tighten and crank down till you can, then zero the turret cap.

I don't have this scope, but if the answer is not in the Instructions that came in the box, then you should call Leupold and they will help you.

I had one of these. Check you tube for a video on how to set your zero stop lower in the range of travel. Hard to recoding for me because I've had some beers but it's an easy fix.
Mint from the factory wouldn't even make two full rotations After adjusting, zeroing at 200 yards and using a 20 moa base, I had nearly 3 full rotations of elevation
