I recently shot a match and after shooting the 100 yard match I started haveing issues. I dialed 7 clicks for 200 yards and when I was shooting my sighters nothing was on paper. I asked the Ro to spot for me as it had rained the night before so I wasn't getting any berm dust.
After 14 rounds still wasn't seeing anything . So I gave up .
Sent to scope in to leupold and its on its way back .
They said they cleaned dirt from the internals. Not sure exactly what part internally.
I hope this was the problem but who really knows.
Took bout 4 weeks turning around. I should have it back by friday.

Dirt in the internals ?
Scopes are about as well sealed of a unit as you could ever want. I have had a lot of scopes apart.

How in the heck did “dirt” get in there?

I suspect the erector tube pivot joint was the problem. They would fix that when they had it apart.

That's what customer service told me it was. I bought it new and had it for approximately 4 years. I should have it by the weekend I'll post the service tag that should be with it
