Leupold 45 X .308 Winchester

Hi guys.

I have one question.
Will de Leupold 45X withstand the recoil of the .308 Winchester rifle, or this scope is best suited to low recoiling rifles as 6 PPC?
My new scope arrived, and since I havent first hand experience, best request the help here.

I would have to say yes, and I'll back it up with I'm also putting one on a .308 Win for F/TR. From what I understand is they don't like is to be DROPPED!

I really can't see why it wouldn't as it's a higher end optic made for Competition use.........BTW I'm going with Leupold PRW rings also.

I have 2 competition 45x their great and no problem on 308, i will recommend one to a guy that is buying a 338 lapua
