the conversion installs a second spring to add additional pressure on the elev. and windage adj. is the normal work he did as I understand it. It's not non adjustable, unless he really had it frozen, then you would need custom rings

Unfortunately yes…. Leupold won’t work on it with the Tucker conversion. Just had this conversation about a year ago with them.
Yes, it does. But, most all of these scopes returned to Leupold for warranty work are returned because they will not hold point of aim/impact precisely. I sent this scope back a couple of times after positively identifying the problem with my Hood scope checker. Both times it was returned without repair and the accompanying sheet saying “within specs”. It seemed Leupold’s specs and a shooter’s expectations are not the same. I subsequently set it to Cecil for modification. Upon its return I put it back on the Hood checker and problem solved.
