Leupold 36x BR. Help

Hi, I have an old 36x br scope and after signing it in at a hundred yards, my turret is on the 12.
There are a couple of small set screws at the top of the turret knob. However I called Leupold and asked if those screws where meant for me to zero the turret and they don't know for certain because the scope is so old that they don't make it or have any information on it.
If anyone has experience with zeroing this scope please give me feed back .

Thank you. I was told that if I loosen them that it could cause problems. Didn't seem right to me
