Very nice gloss finish 12x. Tiniest of small ring marks but you have to really look hard to see them. I would rate appearance at 96-97 percent. Small dot reticle, friction windage turret and 1/4 minute click target elevation turret. Glass is perfect. $425 shipped conus. Have you looked up the date code on it? Also, what is the lowest setting on the focus? I can't remember if these go down to 50 or 25 yards.

Not unless you sent it to the custom shop and had it changed. All of leupolds target dots were .188 except the fixed power 24 & 36 power scopes they were .125. The Custom Shop told me that.

No it isn't. It has to be a variable power to be a VX-3 scope. I believe it is a mx-8
