I bought a BAT 3LL and 32" straight cylinder Krieger from Lester. He did the metal work and chambered it with my reamer for .284 Shehane. That rifle won me the 29 Palms Long Range Regional (F-Class), 2nd in the AZ Palma Championship and 13th at the Berger Nationals. The gun shoots better than I do and good enough to even beat Lester by 5 points at Berger. [br]
His reputation is well deserved.

Lester is a good guy to work with. He knows how to build a rifle that will shoot. I have two of his BAT rifles in 6BR and 6PPC. Both of them shoot very well. I plan to have him build me one more.

I bought a new custom gun. Lester helped me with the specs and part selection and built the gun in less than two months.
The gun is a proven winner. I feel the price I paid was fair given the results.

Lester has a custom 6PPC on BR Central right now and is selling it for $2,750. For a BAT/Jewel/Kreiger/McMillian custom gun that seems reasonable. Not sure if it has sold or not. He had a rifle posted last summer and he was willing to build me a similar gun for the same price as what he had posted.
