Lester Bruno??????

Hey guys, I am looking at buying another custom rifle. I see that Lester Bruno sells excellent components and has them available.

My question is, What do you guys no about him as a gunsmith. I would like to here what you guys have to say. Especially those who have had a rifle built buy him.

Lester Bruno is the 3rd highest points holder in the benchrest Hall of Fame. He holds multiple benchrest world records. He makes world class rifles and bullets. He has made a number of barrels for me that are competitive with any anywhere.

I have had Lester barrel several rifles for me, all are perfect. In our club,Highpower) a fair number of the top rifles are Lester's work including the top winning rifle in F-Class which Lester barreled and stocked.

He makes very accurate 6mm bullets to boot. Great guy to do business with and he can shoot!

Lester built my Tac 20 & I am very pleased with it! Excellent workmanship and good advice on the build. Yes, Lester has the inventory to make it happen! He and his daughter,,I can never remember her name) are good folks to work with and order from. She tells it like it is and will even recommended another supplier that saved me shipping expense on an item I called to order,cleaning rod) If that ain't first class you tell me what is? Two other fine gentlemen listed on the Top Gunsmith link are Mickey Coleman & Greg Tannel. Mickey built me a 6BR and Greg bushed the firing pin later on, both good experiences. I never got to compete with that rifle, but it was easy to shot 5 shot one hole groups at 200 yards. Richard Franklin is another great rifle builder, built a 6MM AI that got me a relay win at the Ohio 1000 yd range as a rookie. No experience with any of the others on that link, but if I was a Wall Street fat cat,Bad Humor these days),.. I would have all of them build me a rifle! I have see most all of them in a winners list. Not a bad egg in the bunch as far as I know.
