Has anybody tried a LER (Long Eye Relief) eyepiece on one of the Celestron Regal M2 spotting scopes? I have a new 65mm Regal M2 18-48x and like it a lot, am considering getting an LER eyepiece. The variable I have on it works just great, but it'd be nice to be able to see the entire field with my specs on, even if the magnification is limited (22x fixed, I think.) What do you think? Is the eye relief really that good? What are the other optical properties like, compared to the variable eyepiece? Inquiring minds want to know!
