Leopold 46X opinons?

Thinking about upgrading from a Sightron II 36X to one of the new Leopold 46X scopes for my 22lr Benchrest Anschutz. Any opinions as to if I should make the change. Any of you guys using these scopes on 50yd Benchrest?

I love my leupold competition 45x fixed; but wow what a small window for proper eye relief. Helps with consistent eye placement at least!

The above is absolutely what I find. The eye relief to get a picture is so small (another member referred to it as 'eye box') that many times I reached forward to see if I had left a lens cap on. It's not you get a smaller picture....you get NOTHING...totally black. Clarity, brightness etc., is first class but that eye relief being soooo critical it's weird.
I wonder if that is the nature of a scope when you get up into these powers? (45x).

I've never owned a 46x from Leupold but i can vouch for how great their customer service is. Send a warranty claim to them and received a brand new scope within 2 weeks no questions asked.
