I got them as a birthday present from my wife.
So far the optics appear wonderful. It is THE nicest pair of binoculars I have ever looked through. Unfortunately I have only looked through cheap stuff until now so I have little frame of reference.
Funny, I thought that I would never own anything that would be considered "high end"!
