Left the Range...Gary Singley

The shooting fraternity lost a real prince of a man last evening. Gary Singley was one of the original moderators for National Match dot com and Long-Range dot com, dating back to 1999/2000. Really enjoyed chatting with him at Camp Perry and online at many venues. A nicer guy you could never hope to meet. He was always there to help anyone who needed it.

Rest in Peace Gary.

I shot the 1K prone matches at Ft. Benning years ago when Grant ( his son) was the hot Service Rifle shooter for the AMU. always looked forward to our conversation. A truly nice man. He will be missed. Condolences to Grant n his family.

I am really sorry to hear that. I had many great interactions with him online over the years, but then did not see anything from him for quite a while. I frequently wondered about him over the years. I wish this was not the kind of news I had to receive.
