Left powder in trickler for 3 days?

I accidentally left some H-4350 in my powder trickler for three days. I went ahead and threw it away. My question is did exposure to air degrade the powder or could I just put it back into the canister?

I'm no expert but I though moisture would be a bigger concern? I left some shotgun powder in a hopper for a week years ago during some rare humid weather. About 50% of the rounds only had the primer go off, leaving the wad in the barrel but the shot dribbling out the end. The hopper was in a shed the whole time and out of sunlight. Might be a coincidence though but when I tried lighting some powder later from the same lot it spat and carried on and didn't burn smoothly:confused:

Matt,
The absorption of moisture is my concern also. I am going to leave 5 grains of H-4350 exposed to the environment of my basement for a week and see if it absorbs any moisture.

Thanks Matt& Jason

Lynn..
Very interesting, I will look for Henry's thread on BRC. I would have never thought that.
Thanks for your input.
