Lee Handloading Press Accuracy

Sometimes I don't mind preping brass out in the garage but other times I prefer sitting indoors while preping brass. Recently, I acquired one of the Lee Handloading presses and it has worked flawlessly for 45 acp loading and other pistol rounds.

I would like to use it to resize 260, 6.5-284, 30-06, 222, 243, 6.8 SPC etc.... Is this press accurate enough to perform the sizing on rifle brass when accuracy is a huge concern? Normally, I use a single stage RCBS rock chucker for loading rifle rounds and the last step in the loading process is with a 21st Century arbor press using LE Wilson bullet seating dies. Basically, I sit down at the kitchen table to charge the cases and seat the bullet.

I could always give it a try and see what kind of results I get from the press but I thought I would ask others first.

Thanks,

Shawn

Bingo! Winna Winna! That is the correct answer!

No point in asking when you already have the press, dies, and brass you want to try.

I regularly use a Lee Hand Press for loading my .223 and .308 "Precision" rounds. The press does great. I do of course use better dies. Redding Competition dies locked into Lee Breech Lock bushings do the actual work on the case/bullet/cartridge. The "press" merely pushes the case into the dies that control the quality of the finished cartridge.

Thank you all for the replies and putting my mind at ease. I would rather hear about success vs failures in using the Lee Handloader as this would save me from messing brass up. 99% of the brass I use is Lapua and that stuff can be pricey ;)

Cheers,

Shawn

You can mess it up, but all you do is re-size it in your RC again and it back to normal
