Lee Collet Die

I've used one for .223 with very good results. I have a Savage 223AI that should be here any day. A friend of mine told me I could use the .223 collet die on the .223AI brass. Has anyone done this with success?

I have not tried it but I believe your friend is correct.

Yes, I use the 223 collet die for my 223AI. Absolutely no problem at all. As with the 223, the only that comes in contact with the die is the neck.
As with any neck sizing set up, after a while the shoulder will need to be set back. You will need a 223 AI full length sizer die in this circumstance.

Yes, I use the 25-06 collet die for my 25-06AI. Works great.

Already have the collet die. Looks like all I need is a 223AI FL and sizer die. Thanks for the help guys.
