Lead shot in a rear bag?

I just purchased a new rear bag and filled it with left over lead shot,#9). I really like the way that it feels. Afterwards I started thinking it might not be a good idea. Is some kind of lead dust going to puff out of it with every shot? Any thoughts?
 
Not sure I would want my nostrils near it. And, if you intend to shoot IBS or NBRSA, lead is not a legal filler. Use the bag sand sold by Sinclairs.
