LC Brass Source ?

Hello All - I am wondering how LC brass is sold and/or distributed by the government, or if it even is anymore. I do see some around with pretty current headstamps. I thought that the Current Administration stopped it's sale to the public but I do not know for sure. Any Info on this would be appreciated. Thanks Napsac

LC Ammo Plant used to be owned/operated by Remington.
Remington sold the works to Federal.
Federal was absorbed by ATK,a DOD contractor.
ATK has been busted a couple times by a former SEAL/sitting congressman for attempting to keep MIL spec brass that they produced out of civilian hands & purchasing it back from Uncle Sam for less than pennies on the dollar.

ATK is not your friend!

I don't know about what is taking place with ATK/Lake City but you can get tons of once fired Lake City from www.leobrass.com

A couple years ago, I bought 6K 308 once fired LC from Brassbombers. Good prices. Great service.

Go to the website Government Liquidation set up an account and then click on the scrap metal heading. Bid on all the once fired Lake City brass you want. As far as new, they say that ATK sells surplus when they make more than the government requires.
