I wish I had the barrel. I have a post up looking for a Brux barrel. No luck so far. Thank you!If you don't already have a barrel, I'd got with at least an 8.5 twist.

My experience also between these speeds ( 2770-2810) with 4350, had a Kreiger and Bartlein that shot just as well at 2740fps as well..In 30 inch barrel I had them up to 2900 with 4831sc but they still shoot best at 2770 to 2810. Same as the shorter barrels. That’s where I run them whether using 4350 or 4831.

Chamber up and go shoot the 180... can’t see a problem there.Update: Sold my reamer mentioned in the original post. My smith has a reamer with .317 neck and a short freebore, but will use a throat reamer to make the FB .220. For shooting Berger 180 or 184 hybrids. What do you all think?
Also, found a 33" Kreiger 1.25 strait in 7mm.
Do you mean the 190's or the 180's .284? I have not seen anyone shooting the 190's in competition, but the 180's are seemingly the standard now and work great.Anyone using Norma MRP in a 284 Win. or Shehane with heavy bullets ? And if so how did it do ?
Yes, 180's, 183's, 184's & 190's - Norma MRP is slower than H-4831sc - I ran some Quick-Load scenarios with MRP as the powder & with heavier bullets (184'sw & 190's) it looked like it could show promise.Do you mean the 190's or the 180's .284?
