Larry's Folding Shooting Bench

Finally got around to shooting from my new folding bench yesterday and it performed great. I was able to shoot my seven Mag. from it with ease and shot a group very consistant with the groups that I had been shooting from the heavier 2 X 4 structured benches. The group measured @ .171 which is about the norm for this rifle. Good job on the bench Larry and that stool sure is comfortable. Feels a whole lot better than a plywood bench. Bill

Very nice, Is it stable enough for long range shooting 800yds+? How about on fairly uneven terrain?

Buzzsaw, I have had a chance to shoot from my bench once and that was only at 100 yds. However, I think it will be stable enough to use at any distance. The legs are adjustable independently,front and back) and not side to side. So, you would want your set-up spot to be kind of level side to side but you could always adjust the legs on your rest to compensate for quite a bit of slant or angle. Only thing is like Larry mentioned to me, you have to realize this table has folding legs and therefore hinged to the table and it would never be as solid a concrete. But, you cannot fold concrete up and haul it around either. So, that being said I think larry offers you your moneys worth and I would purchase from him again. I hope this helps. Bill
