Larry Bryant, I think has been here in the long range 1000 yd shooting for as long as I can remember, was a great mentor to me when I was up and coming in the IBS. He was an ambassador and great advocate for equality in our sport and he will definitely be missed.

Larry was first class. I first met him at an IBS match in WV. Then he made some trips to Pa to shoot the South Fork ground hog matches. He was always willing and interesting to converse with. I wish the best to his family, he was a good man.

I got to know Larry though NBRSA LR BR matches in Oregon. Not only was Larry a great competitor, he was an authority on elk...at the level of Valerius Geist. Larry referred to him as "Val." For a time, Larry was the national range ecologist, USDA Forest Service in Wash DC.

I will miss him......

Larry was also a very good HBR competitor and that's how I met him. A smart, dedicated and genuinely nice person. I'm glad I was able to meet him.

Larry was the first person I met in May of 2012 at Harry Jones Memorial Range in Fairview Wv. Where we shot 1000 yard benchrest together. The last time I shot with Larry was at Harry Jones Memorial Range in August of 2019. What a great person and ambassador for long range shooting. He will surely be missed.
