Large Parallax focus wheel

There was a member on here, that made large focus wheels for parallax adjustments. I thought I saved his info but can't seem to find it. Anyone know who the member was, any help would be appreciated.
Thank's Rob

Thank's rwj,
I want to try the larger wheel as I am a LH shooter and can not reach the parallax knob without getting out of position in prone.
Thank's again

My Idea has always been, why don't scope manufacturers make a Parallax adjustment with a coarse and fine adjustment. I think Swarovski Has that on there spotting scopes so why not Parallax?

Sightron makes some "field target" scopes with these wheels on them. Some Sightron scopes have very stiff paralax adj knobs. Very hard to turn. They can fix that at their lab in NC.

I have 3 scopes with parallax adjustment wheels. Here is where I got mine. They come in several styles and sizes.

I have several of these as well. Very good product.

Lots of airgunners use them in field trials where the targets are at different distances and they're under time on their shots.

These also work well for ground squirrels and PD when you are changing distances quickly.

The focus ring makes it very easy and faster to get the scope in focus. You do not have to grab the wheel. I use my left thumb or index finger to move the wheel. It makes focusing easier and smoother.

I’m pretty sure that at least the new Sightron 10-50 that came out this year has fine and course parallax adjustments. Might be others too but that one comes to mind.

Years ago I sent my first Sightron Slll 10-50x60 in to have the parallax knob made easier to turn. I asked the technician how they adjust the parallax knob tightness and he said they adjust it by using a internal O-ring that is not as thick.

It was a competition air gun shooter who told me about these wheels and the website. Like you said he told me how they use these wheels so they can quickly and accurately make the adjustments of their air rifles at different distances

I agree. IMO, by now, side focus should actually indicate calibrated distances. This, in conjunction with internal focus indicating devices/methods currently used in cameras.
For instance, we should be able to watch an internal split focus ring while dialing. Then with precise focus, read the distance off our dials.

The new Sightron SV series has a fine parallax adjustment inside the outer wheel that is geared down..... Way better than the larger wheel deal. ....jim

Why would you need a perallex adjustment on a spotter...unless it had a cross hair. Now, My Leica spotter has a course and fine FOCUS adjustment.

Is a sightron knob too hard to turn? What am i missing here? That thing is like a cheater pipe if anything ever bumped it

I think those wheels got popular for air rifle field target shooting, which is done at varying distances (10 to 55 yards, I think.) The wheel allows you to change focus without shifting your grip much.

All the wheel's that have been recommended are around 4" +/ - and are too large for my rifle and will interfere with my loading and ejection port. So I guess I will just keep getting out of position to adjust.
Thank's to all that have replied.
