Finally got out to try some of this new ammo.
Compared it to my SK standard. Had high hopes for the price they charge.
Well in my Clarks custom 10/22 it shot noticeably worse than the SK @50yds in calm conditions.
Went though 50 rounds of each, groups and on a single dot score target. Lucky I didn't buy much.

Medium priced, SK Standard, SK- Plus and Wolf Match Extra, all "Perform" very well in my 20" Green Mtn Barrel on my semi-custom 10-22 Sage Rat rifle. Always, Sub 1/2 inch at, 50 Yards ( .3's to low .4's,.. usually ).
I have, a Volquartzen Trigger with, a 2.25 Pound pull, which probably "Limits" the Rifle and ME, a bit,.. I think.
But, the rifle's good enough, to make shots on, the Rats to,.. 85 yards

With 22 rimfire ammunition. You have to test different LOTS of the ammunition to find what your rifle likes. This is with any 22 rimfire ammunition. Sometimes you will get lucky though and buy a box that works right from the get-go. Most of the time you have to do LOT testing though.

RF is as much about the ammo as it is the rifle.test test test. RF isn't as cheap as you'd think. Or comprimize and just shoot what is cheap (some cheap ammo can shoot good also. I have a lot of Master L that'll make my Rem 581 shoot dang near as good as my custom... You hearing this Lapua...Bring back the Master L...

My CZ's a pair of 452s and a 457, all prefer some flavors of the SK and of all things every lot I have tried of CCI Std Vel over anything Lapua or Eley. I have tried several lots of Eley from the Club up to Tenex and I might as well be shooting bulk Remington. Lapua CX and Midas shoot a bit better but still not as good as the SK and CCI. RWS fares a little better and prefers the less expensive Match Target over the R50

The 40X is not picky will shoot darn near anything I put in it from decent to supurb

My Kid has about the same taste as the CZ's except it loves Lapua Midas, too bad there are no ABRA matches anywhere near so I just feed it a steady diet of CCI. It shoots it damn near as well at 1/5 th the cost

I won't be trying any lot of the Lapua Long range or super long range. I just don't see any need for it
