Lapua SR 308 primer pros

Picked up some Lapua .308 small rifle primer brass to try out for an F class load. Loaded several test groups with cci 400 primers.
Another reloader told me I should use cci 450 magnum(or any magnum ) primers to get a "better burn" of the powder.
Guess I missed that somewhere, which is the right one to use?
Thanks

I have used mainly cci b4s and cci 450 in my palma brass but plenty use other brands but I would say most would use one or the other of the primers I have mentioned,

Cheers Trev

I use the lowest flash primers I can find. Have had great results with Tula/Wolf but since they are no longer available I am now using Unis Ginex 5.56 NATO primers. Absolutely no issue igniting 47 gr. of Varget at temps down to 30ºF.
I know many use the CCI450s but multiple tests done by several different experimenters has shown lower flash primers give better ES/SD numbers. For use in F-TR I think you will be happy with them - and their price. I just purchased 5000 shipped to my door including Hazmat fee for $150.
