Yep! Looks just like mine. I read where HandgunHTR quoted your post on the double reamers. He mentioned that Savage probably worked on the barrel. They did not mention they did anything to it and I can't find the note that was taped to the barrel. What I did find was a receipt for a new Shilen barrel dated within a couple of weeks of getting the Savage barrel back. Thar being said: I might not have shot the old barrel after I got it back. I keep telling myself that there is no way I could have re-loaded the 100 cases I had twice and misses that. Thanks for the photo. Looks like ordering a new barrel this morning was the best way to go. My son is taking machinist courses at tech school now. He is 54 and wants to do his own gunsmithing when he retires.
