LAPUA 6 BR BRASS

What is the real difference between old and new 6br brass. I measured and it seems like the wall thickness is slightly thinner on the old brass,and I have some nos brass that is .006 thick. There is no sign of it being turned either.I just cant figure what the deal is with regards to wall thickness.

From the examples that I have seen, the neck walls are thinner on the "blue" box compared to the "brown" box brass, it being thicker.

The new blue box brass is shorter, necks are .012 or less and the flash holes vary from .059 too .0625++......jim
