Lapua 260 Rem Primer Pocket Inquiry

So....

I have noticed that the primer pocket flash hole appears to be .080 rather than .081. If I use my KM flash hole reamer on the cases, it tends to ream the flash hole to a larger, .081, hole. I have heard there is no reason to mess with the primer pockets on Lapua brass. Should I leave the flash hole reaming alone and roll with the default, .080, flash hole size? I did deburr the flash holes with 1 out of 2 cases needing to be deburred badly.

Thanks,

Shawn

Not sure how you measure flash hole diameter to the thousand? But I use my .260Rem Lapua brass as is. They shoot lights out in my AI AT with single digit Sdev.

I know this is a somewhat old thread, but I shoot Lapua .260 brass. I have squared pockets on some brass and not on another lot and did not notice a difference other than more time prepping brass.
