Lapua .260 rem brass H2O capacity

Any body got the case capacity in grains of water for Lapua .260 rem cases (once fired and resized)? Just got Quick Load and wonder how correct their info is.

Quick Load will be different. Probably lower than your fired brass.

You should measure your brass. If that is not possible, use the value that comes with QL.

Because fired brass capacity is dependent on the chamber is was fired in, I feel there is no reason to adjust the QL value until you have a value for YOUR chamber - tolerances being what they are...

My Lapua cases have a water capacity of 53.8 gr. before fireforming. I have an Ackley chamber, but like the other posts have mentioned, you should only measure water capacity from cases that have been fired in your chamber. Every chamber can be different. I assume you don't have any brass to measure and maybe wanting some idea before buying. Lapua is great brass, I used 308 before they came out with the 260 brass. I like having the correct headstamp for my rifles.
