Lapua 260 brass. It's here!

Sorry for the wait guys, but it's here. Graf's has their shipment and will begin shipping orders tomorrow. Kaltron received theirs a few days ago and should be filling existing orders as I write.

Let us know what you think of this stuff. Looks pretty good so far, but the proof's in the pudding.

I hope it is better quality than the last lot of 6.5X55 brass that got shipped. If not I am pretty sure there will be a lot of .260 brass being sold by unhappy .260 shooters.

expiper,

My apologies but no, I hadn't seen it. You can drop me an email directly at kthomas@nammoinc.com with details, no problem. First question, do you still have any of this brass? Second question, you're aware that both Norma and Lapua primer pockets are just a bit deeper than others? This is why Sinclair and others offer primer pocket uniformers specifically for these two brands; they standard ones generally don't have the depth to make a full cut on either of these two. If yours are .015-.020" deeper, then that's too much. Send a sample and we'll see what's up.

dnirode,

Send it to the same address as the one listed in my previous post to expiper. That's my business email, and I'll be sure to get it there.

Thank YOU Kevin....I sent you the pics of my brass...now that I have your business e-mail it will simplify all corespondance....sorry for using the IM feature here...I realize the importance of communication....I have used Lapua brass since it came into the country in the 80's....222/223/PPC/6mmBR/.243/.308/.30/06/300win.....this is the first that I hav had trubl with .....it is the best out there.....Im shur this was just a production malfunction......the metalurgical quality is beyond all.....Thank YOU for helping me....Roger
PS...please encourage the powers that be to produce brass in the following cals.
300win....300/.375 H&H...6mmRem or 7 x 57....7mmRem-.338win..!!!!!

IMPORTANT_ PLEASE READ

Gents,
It is important to understand that there were like 12 Superformance blends made for the Superformance ammo. Only one is being marketed. It will not achieve everything that is great in the other cartridges than listed.

Call Hodgdon and verify. I tried it in .243 with the 105 VLDs trying to squeeze out more that what I was getting with H4831SC and got a lot less. It was advertised for 75s on the bottle and they meant it I guess.

It isn't a one size fits all. It is the only one they are selling off the shelf out of 12. Hope this helps you guys. I bought an 8 lb'r and powder valley driving back from OK and learned the hard way.

Also it is not an Extreme powder and is temp sensative FYI.

Justin
