Lapua 222 brass???

Ive bought some blue box 222 lapua brass over the years. Just ran across a bunch of gold boxes of 222. Didnt realize lapua made 22 back then?

I don't know the date of manufacture but I have part of a gold box
and all I gotten since then was blue box.

All the blue box brass seems to be good stuff.

I bought my first gold box .222 brass in 2006- it was not Lapua quality- I suspect it was outsourced. Absent from the market until 2010. The new brass headstamp was changed to add "MATCH" and the quality was equal to the .220 Russian, and 6 BR brass I was also using. FWIW the necks on this newer lot measure just under 0.013".
