Lapua 155 grain Mega for 6.5 Creedmoor?

Has anyone loaded the Lapua mega 155 grain for 6.5 Creedmoor? I have a couple hundred and would like to use them for deer hunting. Shooting a Browning max long range-26 inch barrel with 1:7 twist. The only published load data I have is VihtaVuori's reloading guide from 2020 and there is load data for the Mega 156 grain but not the 155 grain. Any help would be great!

Thanks!

I shoot them in the swede. They are not nice to deer as they blow reading holes through them. Great elk bullet. The 156 data will work. As us usual start a little low and work up.

Years ago when the Creedmoor first hit the public market, I was trying as many bullets as I could find to get away from the AMAX just for fun. The really heavyweights for the 6.5mm always intrigued me so I found some Megas, Hornady RN and Semi-Pointed to try. Putting all the numbers together while looking at the budget, I found another solution which suited both the budget and the bullets completely.

I had a Mannlicher-Schoenauer in 6.5x54 MS which would get me close to the Creedmoor without buying another reamer and barrel. I had rebuilt this into a Stuetzen with a Bartlein barrel bobbed at 21" and stocked in nice walnut. The best part is that the chamber and rotary magazine were ideal for this cartridge shooting heavy round nose bullets.

The end result was decent accuracy out to about 300 yards with enough energy to stagger a mule deer into submission. I didn't find any 'reading holes' at all, just a nice entry hole and great internal expansion which destroyed the hearts. The lead core is soft but it is bonded to the copper jacket which allows for a nearly perfect mushroom in the softer tissue.

Not the Creedmoor information you're looking for but an example of looking back to move forward. ;):)

Enjoy!
