Lake City Brass

I have come across some LC LR match brass, but I do not know what a reasonable price is for this type of brass. It is mostly 2010 brass with a small about 0f 08 and 09 mixed in. What would a good price be per round?

I forgot the important part of the message. 7.62x51 once fired. Shot from a high quality bolt action rifle.

Good stuff.
A Great price would be 20cents ea,,
If you don't want to insult the guy 28-30 cents ea
If he's setting the price he could easily ask 35 ea
If I'm not mistaken "Match" brass does not have a crimped primer, that's a +

Alot of times a guy thinks he's got Gold, I personally would not pay 40 unless he's paying shipping and I've seen it listed higher than that.

So what does it mean by the primers being "pushed" instead of be "crimped"? How does it affect the depriming and re priming of the brass? I am new to this type of brass. Any other help is appreciated.

Military cartridges have the primer installed like any other case, but after the primer is seated another step in the prosses is to "crush" a small amount of brass around the primer to hold it in place to avoid back pressures sometimes created in loose chambered military guns world wide.

This "crushed" area known as a crimp can be just a few little marks that look like it got hit by a screwdriver or more commonly a full circle around the primer.

When processing crimped mil brass the primer will decap properly, but the brass from the crimp will usually be too much for a new primer to go back in easily.

The crimp is easily removed. You can do each case with a pocket knife or a screwdriver, and there are a ton of tools out there from $9.95 too $200 to do the job.
You can either cut it out out swage it back.
Do a search here and I'm sure you'll find a few 100 postings on the howtoo and tools.
Alot of people including myself have done 1000's for personal use, I use the Lyman tool and a drill and cut it out.
