Its a personal preference. I start vlds .010 in and everything else .010 off.

If your doing this on a hunting gun for sure "JUMP'EM"!!!

If you start with them jammed you don't have as much risk later by changing seating depth.

My rule of thumb...

VLD's - Touching - Jam 10K
Hybrids - Jump 10-30k
SMK - Jump 20-40K

I have no experience with Scenars, but I would assume jumping would be ideal.

Well I have a few rifles to test.
22-250 Ackley with 60gr. V-max
6 SLR with 105 a max's and 105 berger type pills.
300 winmag 208 a-max.
