LabRadar “enter” button un-responsive in cold to "delete"

As per the title, my “enter” button seems to not respond when I try to use it to delete a data series when I have the LabRadar out in the cold. It works for other functions (in the cold), and perfectly to delete sheets at room temperature.

Anyone have a similar experience? I have talked to the help line at LabRadar and they have not heard of this problem.

No problems with my buttons as of yet (7 or so months of use) but coldest temps were upper 30's/low 40's....which is downright Arctic...in south Louisiana.;)

Thanks! Mine is about 10 months old. It has worked in the past but of course a lot of that was in the summer. Now winter in Michigan can be reasonably cold, but today in the 40 which we view as balmy :D…. I am seeing no response to this button for deletion many times now….

Not using gloves just in case people wonder. I just keep my hands in my pocket where I have a hand warmer.

If that button works for other functions, it sounds like a software issue. I would contact Infinition (Labradar) for help. Hopefully it just needs a reflash of the software. I think the warranty is 1yr. I wonder if a reflash can be done from a USB drive?

On a side note, Infinition is located in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec and has some of the finest folks I have met anywhere.

Agree with the idea of a software vs. hardware function. I’ve actually talked to them about it but they said they have never heard of this problem....

A bit reluctant to send it in at this point since it still works when things are warm at home. This is the main reason I posted here i.e. wonder if anyone has experienced this and whether it gets worse…

There is plenty of room in arkansas if you would like to mouve.
ha ha ha not as cold but summers can get your goat.

Personally I can take the cold MUCH better than I can take the heat, especially humid heat. The LabRadar "problem" is super minor in my book that dealing with heat....

Wouldn't trade it for a million bucks!:D
