L.E. Wilson trimmer advice, tips, and sharing welcomed

Since buying an L.E. Wilson lathe trimmer with stand and shark-fin case holder I've been impressed with the quality and ease of use.
I'm still trying to get the shark fin properly adjusted to hold the holder without slop. It seems I've got it to adjust down to within a few thousands of actually holding down the case holder properly but is tight to swing back and forth. Using my thumb seems quicker and just as solid. Advice?
It is a very versatile trimmer. Besides the best trimmer I've used it does case mouth chamfering, primer pocket uniforming, neck reaming, and no telling what else.
I've been using a small block of soft wood to bump the case out of the case holder since I don't have the optional stand base with the poly knocking block.
Besides the shark-fin adjustment and accumulation of brass shavings under the cutter I am really enjoying the tool. After 30 years of using the RCBS trimmers I feel my RCBS Case Trimmer 2 is going to be sold as I have not used it since getting the Wilson.
If anyone has any tips or advice on using this fine piece of gear please share as I'm still learning about it.

thanks

Let the cutter do the work. Keep the pressure constant. Use a toothbrush to clean the cutter regularly. Measure occasionally to verify you aren't pushing harder than normal. I prefer the standard HSS cutter. It cuts better than the carbide. Perhaps put lube on the clamps contact points. I don't have a problem with it.

I was pushing too hard initially. Was getting a bur on outside. I do wish it allowed cuttings to fall through. What a pile!

My shark fin seems a couple thousandts from contact. It looks like a small adjustment to the tension nut. When I first got it the nylon shim was under the fin and it was way off on holding a caseholder. Now I need to fine tune it. Do many of you who have that use it? My thumb pressure seemed just as solid and much quicker.

I have some pulldown brass that was trimmed back and now have the 30 degree case mouth chamfering accessory. That looks like I need to go slow and easy. I am having visions of reaming too deeply and knife edging the mouths.
